The 1871 Society is an invitation into the enduring legacy of Vine Cliff 1871—an intimate community for collectors, connoisseurs, and friends of the estate who wish to experience our wines with greater access, depth, and connection.
Membership in The 1871 Society is limited and offered through a waitlist. For those invited to join, participation is a privilege—an opportunity to secure access to limited-production wines, estate experiences, and personal hospitality not broadly available. New patrons wishing to join are encouraged to register early to express their interest.
Membership Tiers
Members may select from thoughtfully assembled tiers designed to match their collecting preferences. Each tier includes scheduled releases, member-only access, and a suite of benefits crafted to bring the estate experience closer throughout the year.
Summit Portfolio: Red & white wine membership | 12 bottles annually
A comprehensive membership for those who wish to cellar, study, and share the Vine Cliff 1871 portfolio. Shipments include 3 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon and 3 Zinfandel in March, 3 Chardonnay in May, and 3 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection in October. Exclusive to this tier, members enjoy early access to Accolā before its official release.
Terrace Collection: Mixed Cabernet Sauvignon membership | 6 bottles annually
A focused allocation for members who wish to build a collection of both Vine Cliff 1871 Cabernet Sauvignon expressions. Shipments include 3 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon in March and 3 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection in October.
Terrace Special Selection: Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection membership | 6 bottles annually
A guaranteed allocation of Vine Cliff 1871's signature Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection accompanied by generous membership privileges. Shipments include 6 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection every October.
Terrace: Cabernet Sauvignon membership | 6 bottles annually
A guaranteed allocation of Vine Cliff 1871 Cabernet Sauvignon, ideal for entertaining and gifting. Shipments include 6 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon every March.
Chardonnay: WHITE WINE MEMBERSHIP | 12 bottles annually
A white wine-focused membership for members who wish to receive a 12-bottle allocation of Vine Cliff 1871 Chardonnay each May.

These unique wines—first conceived for family, friends and our close-knit team—rarely leave the walls of the estate. They are crafted with the same care and attention to detail as our Cabernet Sauvignon- and Cabernet-Franc-based Grands Crus.
